Company Story
Family-owned in Ann Arbor since 1992, Great Lakes Lumber Co. operates three distribution yards across southern Michigan and an 11-truck delivery fleet that covers roughly a 220-mile radius out of our flagship yard. We stock SPF 2x4 through 2x12, engineered I-joists, LVL beams, treated lumber, GLB, OSB sheathing, subfloor, and the full Timberland fastening line.
Standard delivery hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with after-hours and Sunday deliveries available for active job sites on 24-hour notice. We accept cash, all major credit cards, ACH, and net-30 terms on approved credit accounts (typical credit review turnaround is 2 business days for licensed contractors).
Send us a takeoff and we will hold your quoted price for the duration of the project — no fuel surcharges, no surprise restocking fees, and if a lumber market spike hits between your quote and your delivery, we still honor the original number. That is why we keep 600+ Midwest builders coming back.
